Fab, the UK's number one ice lolly, is launching a competition through Twitter to find a new Fab Dipping Technician to join its busy Sprinkle Optimisation team.
The question of how the multi-coloured sprinkles are placed on the top of Fab ice lollies has confused many a child over the years and Fab has confirmed that they do in fact employ human operatives to hand-dip each ice lolly.
The necessary skills required for a Fab Dipping Technician are; good hand eye coordination, a steady hand, passion and knowledge of ice lollies, a good sense of humour and perfect timing to handle the thousands of Fab ice lollies produced at the factory every day throughout the summer months. It is a highly skilled craft, which the team at Fab have spent years honing, to ensure that every Fab has the perfect three-coloured stripes of red, white and sprinkles.
Fab is now opening up its factory for someone to help dip its brand new orange flavour Fab, in time for the expected surge in demand for ice lollies over summer. It is turning to the power of Twitter to get prospective Dippers to send them 140 characters of why they should win. Find Fab at #fabicelolly.
James Beaumont, Brand Manager at Fab said: "We are opening up our doors for a new member of our Sprinkle Optimisation team and think that Twitter would be a great way for people to show us their passion for Fab. It's a real honour to be responsible for sprinkling the fun on a Fab ice lolly and we're excited about the responses we will receive. Be warned however, it is an incredibly responsible job as our many Fab fans demand that the sprinkles are perfectly uniformed."
Head of Sprinkle Optimisation at Fab said: "We love our jobs and it gives us huge pleasure to know that each and every Fab is sprinkled to perfection. Fab is famous for its three-in-one colours with real strawberry puree, chocolate and dipped in multi-coloured sprinkles and we need to ensure we don't let any of our fans down."
